The Range — A calmer corner of the internet.
Think of The Range as a weekly digital book club. Except instead of books, it's a few long-form pieces organized around one central idea.
A note from the founder
The Range was created as an alternative to the fast, fragmented, doomscrolling we've all grown used to. Consider us the anti-algorithm — a space for people whose curiosities don't fit neatly into one category. The goal is simple: slow down discovery and make curiosity feel expansive again.
How The Range works
Each week, we explore one topic. That topic becomes the theme for a small collection of things worth exploring — articles, podcasts, and ideas from across culture, technology, design, and beyond. You can read the skim, go deeper into the full piece, vote in the poll, or join the discussion with other curious people. The goal isn't to overwhelm you with content. It's to give you a few things actually worth your time.
What we cover
- Identity & Culture — How we live, express, gather, relate, belong.
- Tech & The Modern World — AI, digital culture, online life.
- Design & Aesthetics — Beauty, architecture, art, fashion.
- Work & Ways of Building — How people make, shape, sustain, craft, and grow their lives.
Why it exists
The Range is built around a simple belief: curiosity should feel expansive, not exhausting. Human creativity deserves attention. Discovery should feel calm — one theme, a few pieces, and space to explore them at your own pace. Curiosity should feel hopeful.
